Morne's Honda AP1 S2000

Moving Forward

With a push of a button, this high revving rear-wheel drive naturally aspirated 2.0L, purrs to life. Internally, the F20C is stock, but then again, this baby puts down 177kW to the flywheel, from the factory floor. So why change perfection? Not only has it been the number 1 engine with the highest output per litre, its also complies with the stringent California Low Emission Vehicle (LEV) laws. The Honda S2000 was a gift to Honda's Engineers to the company, and aren't we glad it got shared it with the world :)

Fashionably Late

The S2000, is equipped with the super rare (locally) Volk Time Attacks, sized 17x7 in the Front, 18x8, which do some serious arch filling. These babies, are then covered in some fine ass Falken Azenis, in 225/45/17 in Front, and 245/45/17 Rear. The Espelier Springs, not only helps with the aggressive stance, but compliments the wheels, giving the shocks some overtime work.

The S2000 epitomizes Honda's racing heritage. Its DNA is that of a pure thoroughbred racer. And inside, you feel and hear those Formula One genes loud and clear. So, take a second, think about, it’s an S2000, why  change it.

[Update: An Type One Racing 63mm Header-Back exhuast has been fitted]
